Oscillators everywhere!

I just got back from the most amazing meeting at the EMBL Advanced Training Center in Heidelberg, Germany. Three days of talks on oscillators in different biological systems, covering everything from lunar rhythms (Kristen Tessmar-Raible) to sleep (Gero Meisenboeck) to the somite segmentation clock (...many amazing talks!!). Ben Tu's talk on some interesting cell biology arising from metabolic rhythms was fascinating -- very cool stuff! Finally, amazing talks on the cell cycle from John Tyson and Jim Ferrell rounded out an outstanding meeting. Thanks to the organizers Alexander Aulehla, Ueli Schibler, Leon Glass and Hanspeter Herzel for the opportunity to attend!
