An amazing meeting in Australia!
Thanks to Jacqui Matthews and the rest of the Program Committee of the 43rd Lorne Conference on Protein Structure and Function for the opportunity to present our recent work on the cyanobacterial circadian clock proteins to an all-star group. It was a fantastic meeting full of great talks, engaged questions, and beautiful views of the bay at Lorne. A special thanks to Jon Oakhill for organizing the afternoon surfing session. I might have only made it up for a few seconds on

Congrats to Jeff on his JBC Minireview on the cyanobacterial circadian clock
Jeff put together an excellent comprehensive review of the cyanobacterial circadian clock in conjunction with Andy LiWang and Susan Golden -- it should be online in the next few days!

The Biology of Time at Salk
Thanks to Inder Verma and the Program Committee for the opportunity to speak at the 12th annual Salk / Ipsen Foundation / Science Magazine Symposium on Biological Complexity! This year's meeting focused on the Biology of Time and we heard fantastic talks on circadian, lunar and seasonal rhythms from Roelof Hut, Mick Hastings, John Hogenesch and Kristen Tessmar-Raible, as well as many others.
